Papakata specialise in hiring out Kåta tents for parties, weddings, festivals and events - teepee style tents pioneered by the Sami people of Lapland. Whether for an intimate dinner, or the celebration of a lifetime, Papkata want each and every one of their clients to have the time of their lives.
The Problem
- Papakata were running their own PPC AdWords campaign and were struggling to get success.
- The client reported receiving almost no sales leads each month, despite a spend of £2,000 per month.
- Before Ignition were on board Papakata were running at a click through rate of 1.86%, with a cost per click of 61p and no direct conversions each month.
What We Did:
- We researched the clients market which included a site visit from our ppc team, product tour and office based market research.
- Breaking the campaigns down into individual areas - targeting core areas of Papakata’s business and market.
- Implemented ongoing campaign refinement, consistently improving the campaign adgroup structure, key phrase targeting, adcopy and dropping poorly converting traffic.
- Implemented formal conversion tracking on the client site.
The Results:
After working with Ignition Search for 18 months, the client is now booked up over 18 months in advance and is getting new business leads every week.
- After 6 months with Ignition, the CTR was at 6%, the CPC at 52p and we were averaging 12 direct conversions each month.
- After 18 months the CTR is now over 8%, the CPC down to 49p and we are achieving roughly 40 direct conversions every month.
